Job Description  
  • Leads the planning and implementation of process migrations – including coordination and transition of internal processes from Global locations to the captive site at Pune – includes process mapping and documentation, estimation of staffing needs, training timeframes, IT specifications, escalation procedures, disaster recovery planning, etc.
  • Project Director will play a key role in establishment of appropriate processes, procedures and controls to effectively transition processes into the captive site - in accordance with applicable established corporate policies and procedures.
  • Will serve as a member of the Pune Operating committee and has significant involvement in the planning for broad issues affecting the business.

 

 

Key Accountabilities

  • Manages all aspects of migration projects on a process by process basis from evaluation, selection and planning through to operational steady state. Apply analytical skills to business requests and communicate these in a clear and unambiguous manner
  • Initial Analysis –Go Live / Migration management
  • Organize and document Project phases (Business Requirements, Project Plan, Test Strategy, Test Plan etc)
  • Responsible for process migration cost / benefit analysis and SLA verification in support of decision process for transition. Creativity needed to reengineer processes as appropriate during transition and implementation to maximize offshore operation efficiencies.
  • Work in partnership with Operations, Front Office and IT colleagues to deliver projects to agreed scope, timelines and costs
  • Responsible for delivery through the project lifecycle
  • Monitor progress through the IT Build phase where appropriate

·         Excellent project management skills; Project Management qualifications will be an added advantage

·         Analytical skills

·         Strong understanding of costing and budgeting of projects

·         Excellent documentation skills and advanced MS Project skills

·         Excellent stakeholder management  and communication skills

 

·     Post graduate/MBA

·     12+ years relevant experience delivering on large scale projects

·      Significant experience in BPO industry preferably with multi-national/financial service businesses (US-based).

·       IT experience helpful.
